As one of the leading and largest departments of Feni University (FU), the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) has been continuously increasing its reputation in teaching-learning and research at home and abroad since its establishment. It is approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC), Bangladesh.
The department of EEE offers the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree based on up-to-date curriculums, for example, the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Curriculum. The program covers all the relevant theoretical and experimental knowledge of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, especially concentrating on electrical, electronic, communication, material, power and computer from fundamental to advanced in alignment with the most prominent universities in the world. The necessary Thesis and Project are integrated into the program to make the students proficient in high-quality research and innovation. In addition, it also includes different industrial training, field trips, etc., to develop students’ on-field working skills. Hence, the students can efficiently contribute to the national and international socio-economics.
A group of qualified faculty members has been appointed to serve the Department of EEE. Several faculty members are on study leave for their higher studies abroad. Everybody has worth mentioning research profiles with many publications in different high-impact accredited journals, symposiums, and conferences in their fields of interest. They are also linked with a wide range of collaborative research activities with various universities, organizations, and industries worldwide.
Students who have passed HSC and Diploma can apply for admission to the B.Sc. in EEE program of Feni University.
The department’s classrooms are furnished with modern computers, multimedia facilities, air conditioning systems, well-equipped practical laboratories, and internet facilities.
An excellent number of graduates from the Department of EEE have already secured fascinating jobs in the country’s government and private sectors and beyond the country. Moreover, our graduate students are securing scholarships in foreign universities to pursue their post-graduation.
