Salma Akter is an Assistant Professor of Finance and Chairman of the Department of Business Administration at Feni University. She obtained her MBA in Finance and Banking from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Jahangirnagar University, where she secured the second position in the merit list. She has also completed Part I of the MPhil program at IBA, Jahangirnagar University. Ms. Akter has a strong commitment to academic research. Her research interests include public finance, portfolio management, corporate finance, financial management, investment, banking, capital markets, and economics. She has published numerous research articles in both national and international peer-reviewed journals. Since joining Feni University on 13 September 2014, she has been actively involved in teaching, research, and academic administration. Through her academic leadership and commitment to research and education, she continues to contribute to the institution’s academic advancement.
