Abu Zobayer served as a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at Feni University. He received his master’s degree from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). During his M.Sc. journey, he published a notable research article in Scientific Reports. Academically, he also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) for two semesters in his department, BUET. During his thesis, he was appointed as a full-time Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) by the RISE (Research and Innovation for Science and Engineering) at BUET. 
His work mainly focuses on mathematical biology. His previous research contributions involved epidemic models and evolutionary game theory (EGT), heterogeneous network. He is enthusiastic about working on these topics further. He also participated as a presenter in national and international mathematics conferences. His Orcid ID is 0009-0002-9412-6992.
